Nolan Bushnell - Chairman of the Board
Nolan created the seminal video game "Pong" and founded the Atari Corporation in 1971. With over 30 years of gaming experience, Nolan is justifiably revered as the "Father of the Video Game industry." He was CEO of Atari from 1971 to 1978, growing the Company to more than $800 million in sales before his departure. He then founded and served as CEO of Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theater, a restaurant chain featuring electronic entertainment, from 1977 to 1983, and grew that company to more than $350 million in sales. From 1978 to 1996, Mr. Bushnell served as the sole proprietor of Catalyst Technologies, a source of venture capital and technical advice for Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. He served as Chairman for several Catalyst companies such as ETAK, Androbot, ByVideo, Magnum Microwave, Axlon, and Octus. Most recently, Nolan founded and is CEO of uWink, Inc., a digital entertainment company that launched a new entertainment dining experience including casual games for adults. Nolan has received numerous accolades for his many accomplishments.
