Richard Quach
Richard is a seasoned engineering veteran with over 15 years of experience managing talented software development organizations. Currently, Richard is VP of Engineering at Avvenu, where he drives Avvenu's technical strategy, and is responsible for creating and managing the company's product roadmap. As the head of the company's Product Development and Operations teams, he is responsible for establishing processes and setting priorities that allow Avvenu to deliver on its promise of seamless and easy solutions for sharing digital media.
Before joining Avvenu, Richard was Vice President of Product Technology Development at America Online, Inc. In that role Richard managed development teams that delivered consumer applications, such as You've Got Pictures, My AOL, AOL Calendar, Shop@AOL and AOL Alerts that are used by more than 30 million AOL subscribers worldwide.
Prior to joining America Online, Richard worked at Oracle Corporation and as a consultant for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris, France.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the American University in Paris and has a master's degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
